Retrospective Web Analytics

TrackSite accumulates data and provides retrospective web analytics of any day, week, month or any arbitrary period in entire accumulated web site's history. User can also impose a limit on how much history TrackSite should keep.

Accumulation of historic data and ability to analyze it retrospectively is crucially important, since often historic data is the only benchmark available to compare current (recent) performance with, e.g. for measuring growth of web site audience, benchmarking online advertising campaigns, etc.  Most importantly, TrackSite offers complete retrospective web analytics, not just summary figures (almost always useless) or a like. You never know upfront what lessons you would want to learn in the future from site's past performance, and TrackSite makes difference -- its retrospective analytics allows to take close look at any period in the past without any limitations, or prior arrangements.

For example, already accumulated web analytics may be used to shed light on conversion metrics (rates, funnels) for sources and/or targets that has become important now, but were never thought of before. This would be impossible with most traditional web analytics tools, but it can easily be done with TrackSite.
