Third-party cookies issue

If TrackSite is deployed on the same web server that runs tracked web site, TrackSite is up and running the same time that site is running -- uptime is 100%, meaning reported web analytics is always complete and reliable.
In contrast, unlike TrackSite, servers of hosted (third-party) web analytics provider may well be inaccessible or overloaded resulting in silent data loss, incomplete and unreliable web analytics. And even worse, there is no way to verify that data was lost, which data, how much data, etc.
